What can school groups do at the SNFCC?

SNFCC welcomes students carrying out educational programs for all school levels. Alternatively, school groups can participate in autonomous school walks at the SNFCC premises.

 
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

 

How can I book a school educational program?

Preregistration for the educational programs is made only through online registration via the SNFCC website. For the period 2 October–31 March, you may book a school visit online.

 

How many students can participate in a school education program from each school?

For the academic year 2017-2018, up to 4 classes from each school.

Which days are the programs conducted?

-Kindergarten, elementary 1st and 2nd grade: Monday // hours: 9:00 – 10:30, 11:00 – 12:30
-Elementary school, 3rd to 6th grade: Tuesday, Thursday // hours: 9:00 10:30, 11:00 – 12:30
-Junior and Senior high school: Wednesday & Friday // hours: 9:00 – 10:30, 11:00 – 12:30

Is the participation to the programs free of charge?

Participation in the educational programs is free of charge, with the exclusive support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

 

SCHOOL WALKS

What can students do during an autonomous school walk?

Students can walk around and explore the Stavros Niarchos Park and the premises, which are accessible to the public.

Is a reservation necessary for an independent tour of my school group at SNFCC?

To best accomodate all visiting school groups , it is strongly recommended that you inform us by filling out the form here.

How many students can visit?

There is no limit regarding the number of students that can join the independent tour. All student groups are welcome.

 

ACCESS

How can a school group get to the SNFCC?

Currently, the SNFCC premises can be reached by car, bicycle or public transportation, including buses and the tram.

The SNFCC's open parking space is available for you both during the arrival of the school bus, as well as for the duration of the visit.
