#snfccAtHome: Guided tours of the Stavros Niarchos Park with Helli Pangalou – Musical Garden

Helli Pangalou, Landscape Architect and co-designer, along with Deborah Nevins, of the Stavros Niarchos Park, invites us to discover one of its most distinctive spaces, the Musical Garden.

The Musical Garden is a space for play, designed to familiarize children with sounds, the language of music, as well as the musical sound of the sea. In an interactive setting, children play music on the metallophone or the dance keys, and create their own compositions on the Seesaw of Sound. The musical games and other structures of the garden, such as the Parabolic Disks and the Rotating Stone, give visitors the opportunity to experiment and unleash their creativity.

The design and construction of the Stavros Niarchos Park as an open, public space, welcoming and accessible to everyone, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and the protection of the environment, is the result of the vision of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) for the SNFCC. The SNFCC project was made possible through the exclusive donation of the SNF.
