Φωτογραφία από παιδιά που μαθαίνουν γλυπτκή μέσα από παιχνίδι

Contemporary art and George Zongolopoulos’ multifaceted work becomes child’s play at SNFCC, in an experiential educational program based on Umbrellas, Alexander, Five Circles and Zalongos Monument. Starting off with these artworks, children discover the performing and visual arts while enjoying a first-hand experience. Participants engage with sculptures by Zongolopoulos using a different technique each time, inspired by theater, music, dance, storytelling and the visual arts. Moreover, the great sculptor’s life and work provides material for storytelling, encouraging children to associate art with aspects of their own personal experience and to contemplate on the significance of art in public space by installing their own sculptures on SNFCC grounds.
