Sports Walks in the Stavros Niarchos Park

For kindergarten and first, second-grade students

Within the context of this program, students, using sports equipment and participating in 5 different games-stations, explore the basic characteristics of movement. They learn what happens to the body when we start walking, running, or even falling down or throwing and catching a ball. In addition, children will learn more about the concept of immobilization, falling, rhythm, twisting and rolling through balance exercises.

Sports Walks in the Stavros Niarchos Park

For third-grade to sixth-grade students

The program Sport Walks combines traditional field exercises with the use of technological equipment. The aim of the program is to engage students in a creative manner, with a focus on the development of their athletic and kinesthetic skills and the promotion of the culture of athletics.

Sports Walks in the Stavros Niarchos Park

For students of special education schools 

Students of special education and training schools will have the opportunity to participate with their companions in the sport of ColpBol, Boccia, Basketball and Football, specially adapted to the needs of each school. The school program takes place in the Outdoor Games Area and promotes the acquaintance with sports and equal opportunities among the participants.
