Open Call: Girlhood, today. - Εικόνα
12 October 2023

On the occasion of the International Day of the Girl, celebrated on October 11, the SNFCC addresses an open call to all girls and femininities aged 13 to 17, residents of Greece, who are interested in capturing, through a type of text of their choice, the experience of being a girl.

The aim of this initiative is to highlight the challenges that girls face today, while promoting their empowerment.

As varied and diverse as a girl's experiences in adolescence may be, so strong and frequent are the points of convergence of these experiences. By shedding light on these different small paths, we lead the common road to the future: a world more fair, more inclusive, with equal opportunities.

Through your words and stories, we invite you to introduce us to the world as you see it, to share the obstacles and stereotypes you encounter every day, but also all that inspires you, moves you and makes you dream. The texts that will be selected through the open call process will be presented on stage as part of the WOW Athens 2024 discussions, on April 6, 7, and 8, 2024.
