Music Escapades, the series of concerts featuring the latest of the Greek alternative music scene, returns to SNFCC's outdoor spaces for the summer months. Celebrating its first anniversary, it presents K.BHTA at the Great Lawn on 10/06, while Theodore brings his atmospheric music to the Panoramic Steps on 20/07.
The composer, performer and multi-instrumentalist Theodore has been experimenting and evolving throughout his career. He already has two albums under his belt, 7 and Ιt Is but It’s Not. Signed by Ken Thomas, Sigur Ros producer, Ιt Is but It’s Not garnered accolades from world-famous artists, including Yann Tiersen and BBC6’s Lauren Laverne. In a broad palette of atmospheric, psychedelic and ambient moods, Theodore has developed an unmistakably personal post-rock electronic style approach in composing and performing his music, leaving the door open to classical romanticism. At the SNFCC, he will perform his latest material, currently being recorded, along with excerpts from his two earlier albums.
