As the change of the year approaches, some people set specific resolutions, while others follow wherever the new year leads. But if there’s already a path made for you, why not let it show you the way?

This year, find your auspicious New Year’s beginning at the starting line of the SNF RUN: 2024 FIRST RUN, organized by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) in collaboration with nonprofit Regeneration & Progress. The three-kilometer route around the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) Christmas World is sure to fill the first moments of 2024 with positive energy, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

Run in the first race of the year, right after the spectacular fireworks show and just before the big party in the Agora!

The SNF RUN: 2024 FIRST RUN is open to all and is non-competitive in nature. However, official times will be recorded so that all runners can track their performance as they achieve the first goal of 2024.

Your participation helps kids in need!

The SNF RUN: 2024 FIRST RUN has a charitable mission, and runners are invited to contribute a minimum of €5 (or more for those who wish) to participate in aid of children in need. The full amount contributed will be donated to these nonprofits; the cost of the race is fully covered through support from SNF.

*The SNF RUN: 2024 FIRST RUN is implemented through an exclusive grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), which covers the full cost of the race. The run is held under the organizational supervision of nonprofit Regeneration & Progress and the medical supervision of the Department of Sports Excellence of the first Orthopaedic Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). The event is held in collaboration with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).

*Contributions to each of this year’s partner nonprofits will be made online (via debit or credit card) through nonprofit Regeneration & Progress. The full amount collected will be given as grants to the nonprofit organizations participating, with the total split equally between them.
