Boasting hundreds of concerts, talks and workshops all around the world, ILIOS is one of the most unique cases in the Greek music scene. It has been constantly active in the global art and music scenes since the early ‘90s. Nikos Veliotis’ music career began in the ‘80s, when he and Alex Machairas formed In Trance 95. In the ‘90s, he turned to experimentation and the avant-garde, with Cranc; in the '00s, he established Texturizer (with Coti K.) and Looper (with Ingar Zach and Martin Kuchen). He has also worked with Giannis Angelakas. Since 2010, ILIOS and Nikos Veliotis collaborate under the moniker of Mohammad.
