Film Club: How to Have Sex (2023) - Εικόνα

Watch the film and join us in discussing it together with Cinobo’s facilitators!

In February, the Members’ Film Club is discussing the film How to Have Sex. Earning the Un Certain Regard prize at the Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Athena at the Athens International Film Festival, this film is one of those rare debuts in which you cannot but recognize a remarkable new talent. Molly Manning Walker observes without overtalking, delivering an astonishing study of consensus in an utterly contemporary way.

Summary:
Three young women from England travel to Malia to experience the best summer of their lives. They want to live the all-inclusive Dionysian experience of the Greek summer: alcohol, clubbing, meeting boys. Besides, this is something of a coming-of-age tradition. But something will happen on their last night there, something that they themselves cannot identify at first. And it will prove enough to tear down every teenage dream.

* Club films are not screened during the meetings.
