On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Sports Excellence, as part of its “Action for Kids with Disabilities” program, in collaboration with the SNFCC, is organizing a series of inclusive sports activities in SNFCC’s Outdoor Games Area. Inclusion activities are organized and staged thanks to an exclusive grant by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
On a field of fun tracks, children with and without disabilities will be grouped together, collaborate and try to get from one end of the track to the other, as quickly but also as safely as possible. The track resembles a battlefield, but the race requires several motor skills of children’s physical development (overcoming obstacles, jumping, walking on an unstable surface, walking on a balance beam). The routes will be properly adapted and carried out by every child, regardless of their level of mobility and fitness.
