A. SNFCC Member Registration and Membership

1. Any natural person over the age of eighteen (18) is eligible to register as a Member of the SNFCC Membership Program. Minors are eligible to participate as additional Members in the context of the “SNFCC Family” Membership program. During registration, applicants select the category of SNFCC Membership for which they wish to register and for which he must meet any age or other prerequisites. SNFCC Membership benefits provided under the SNFCC Membership Program, as applicable, are listed on the SNFCC website at www.SNFCC.org/members.

2. The status of SNFCC Member is obtained by registering for the Membership Program of the “Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center Single-member S.A.,” headquartered on 364 Andreas Syngrou Avenue, 176 74  Kallithea (hereinafter “SNFCC S.A.”). To complete their registration, applicants must fill out the registration application form and pay the subscription fee set by SNFCC S.A. Registration for the SNFCC Membership Program can be done either in person at an SNFCC counter, or online, through the SNFCC website. For the registration procedure in case of a “gift subscription,” see also term No. 14.

SNFCC S.A. reserves the right to contact applicants by phone or in person in order to verify their personal information and request the presentation of a valid police ID card or other official identification document (e.g. passport).

3. Upon completion of registration, the SNFCC Member is granted a Membership Card in digital format. The Membership Card will then also be provided to the SNFCC Member in print form in any way deemed appropriate by the SNFCC S.A. at its reasonable discretion (indicatively, by physical mail to the address provided when registering for the SNFCC Membership Program, or the Member may pick it up at the SNFCC, following relevant notification by SNFCC S.A.).

Regarding the physical mailing of the Membership Card to SNFCC Members in print form, SNFCC S.A. bears no responsibility for the timely execution of postal and/or courier services.

The Membership Card, either in print or digital format, is proof of the SNFCC Member’s current and valid membership.

4. In recognition of the support for the objectives of the SNFCC provided through the payment of the subscription fee, the SNFCC Member shall be entitled to all the SNFCC Membership privileges corresponding to the Member category for which they have registered. Especially in the context of the “SNFCC Family” Membership, each family member declared during registration is entitled to all the privileges of the SNFCC Membership of that category.

5. Each Membership Card is valid for a period of one calendar year, unless otherwise specified during registration. Should one wish to continue supporting the SNFCC S.A. after the expiration of their Membership Card, they can renew their subscription to the SNFCC Membership Program by paying to the SNFCC S.A. the corresponding subscription fee determined by the SNFCC S.A. Renewal can be done either at an SNFCC counter or online through the SNFCC website.

6. Membership in the SNFCC Membership Program and any general rights deriving from it are strictly personal, inalienable and non-transferable to any third party.

It is expressly clarified that the privileges of the Membership Program cease upon the death of the natural person holding the status of SNFCC Member. It is clarified that, in the case of the “SNFCC Family” Membership, the subscription to the SNFCC Membership Program is managed exclusively by the person who performed the registration, to whom all updates and information concerning it are addressed. Upon a relevant declaration, updates and information related to the Membership Program may be additionally addressed, as an alternative method of communication, to the email address of the spouse, partner, or civil partner of the person who performed the registration. Especially in the case that the SNFCC Member who registered themselves and their family members for the SNFCC Membership Program withdraws from it, the subscription may be transferred to the spouse/partner declared during registration, provided that the latter wishes to continue the subscription.

It is strictly forbidden to SNFCC Members to lend out or grant use of their Membership Card to any third party. SNFCC Members are required to present, whenever requested, their Membership Card as well as their police ID or other official identification document, in order to be able to make use of the Membership privileges available to them.

7. The Membership Card is not a credit or debit card and cannot be used for commercial or financial transactions.

8. Each Membership Card is and remains the property of SNFCC S.A., and the holder-Member of the SNFCC is obliged to return it at its first request. In case of loss of the Membership Card, the owner must notify SNFCC S.A. in writing, so that the card may be canceled and replaced. SNFCC S.A. bears no responsibility for the use of a Membership Card that has not been declared lost.

9. SNFCC S.A. has the right at any time to modify, replace with others, or abolish any privileges of the SNFCC Membership, or to discontinue or abolish at any time the SNFCC Membership Program or individual categories of Members thereof, after timely notification of the SNFCC Members through the website www.SNFCC.org and/or by any other applicable means (email, SMS, regular mail, SNFCC S.A. social media, telephone).

10. No intellectual or industrial property rights of SNFCC S.A. are transferred, granted, or provided for exploitation to the SNFCC Member.

11. SNFCC S.A. shall not be liable in the event that, for any reason, any SNFCC Membership benefits cannot be made available to SNFCC Members or implemented. SNFCC Members acknowledge and accept that certain privileges (e.g. guided tours, special events, etc.) may only be made available to a limited number of SNFCC Members. In such cases, the order of priority of the SNFCC Members who have expressed an interest in participating will be followed until the prescribed number of seats is filled. With respect to the privileges of the Membership Program that allow a Member to participate in a Membership Program activity along with a guest, said SNFCC Member must be present at said activity for the use of the relevant privilege by the SNFCC Member and their guest.

12. The amount of the subscription fee is intended to contribute to the operation and sustainability of the SNFCC, and covers expenses that include the general costs of planning and implementing activities specially designed to support the SNFCC, the administrative costs of registering the SNFCC Member, the costs of issuing a Membership Card, the general operating costs of the SNFCC Membership Program. Therefore, subject to cancellation within the first fourteen (14) days from the date of registration, as stated below, the subscription fee paid is in no case partially or fully refundable by SNFCC S.A., or offset against other costs, or exchanged. In the event of a change in SNFCC Membership category before expiry of the validity period of the current Membership Card, the paid subscription fee may not be offset against the value of the new subscription.

13. In case the SNFCC Member registration takes place electronically through the SNFCC S.A. website, www.SNFCC.org/members, the SNFCC Member has the right to request the cancellation of their subscription within fourteen (14) days from the date of registration, by sending a relevant email to members@snfcc.org, or mailing a relevant letter to SNFCC S.A., and must return their printed Membership Card to the SNFCC S.A., either by handing it over at the SNFCC reception or by mailing it to the SNFCC S.A. address, as provided above, in an envelope marked with the indication “C/o the SNFCC Membership Program.” In such an event, SNFCC S.A. will refund the former SNFCC Member with the amount of the subscription fee they have paid. In any other case of cancellation of subscription (and, thus, participation in the SNFCC Membership Program), the subscription fee is not refunded.

14. In case SNFCC S.A. offers the possibility of purchasing a “gift subscription” for the registration of a third person as an SNFCC Member, the amount of the subscription is paid by the buyer of the gift subscription and SNFCC S.A. issues the relevant unique “gift promotion code.” The third party who receives the gift subscription is entitled to register as an SNFCC Member at any time until the end of the specified duration of the subscription, using that unique identification number, electronically through the website of the SNFCC S.A., www.SNFCC.org/members, or by physically visiting the SNFCC. Registration requires filling out the relevant registration application and accepting the terms of participation in the SNFCC Membership Program by the third party. In the event that the purchase of the “gift subscription” was made online through the website of SNFCC S.A., the buyer has the right of withdrawal within fourteen (14) days from the date of purchase, by sending a relevant email to members@ snfcc.org or a relevant letter to the postal address of the SNFCC S.A., as provided above, marked “C/o the SNFCC Membership Program.” In such an event, the amount of the subscription fee paid is refunded to the buyer by SNFCC S.A.

15. In the event of a change in the SNFCC Member’s information, the SNFCC Member may contact the SNFCC S.A. and send SNFCC S.A. a filled-out data change form.
