On December 7th Arup Acoustics, consultants for acoustic design, successfully completed the last of a series of “real life” performance tests at the building of the Greek National Opera at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. The event was a full audience trial concert at the Stavros Niarchos Hall, with the participation of the Greek National Opera, which performed a number of operatic pieces in the new state-of-the-art auditorium, surpassing all expectations for acoustic excellence. In its new home, the Greek National Opera will become an exciting destination for music lovers and architecture cognoscenti alike. The new 28,000 m2 auditorium is an architectural jewel, designed to enhance the opera experience for patrons and artists alike.
