The figures of dancers against a background of soil, wood and concrete, breathe life into the worksite and illustrate its evolution from 2013 until today, in a chronicle that began against the backdrop of scattered building materials and the frames of buildings and will end with the brand new main stage of the Greek National Opera in 2016.
The exhibition is open to the public throughout the four-day events, entitled “Light Up the Night at the Stavros Niarchos Park” (June 21-24, 2015).
On June 21st, at 18:00, the photographic exhibition of Vassilis Makris, entitled: Incarnation opens at the Stavros Niarchos Park. Through the lens of the applied photography specialist, Vassilis Makris, the birth and evolution of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center is illustrated, featuring the principal dancers of the Greek National Opera (GNO), Maria Kousouni and Vangelis Bikos.
