Have you ever wondered what the backstage of a large Opera stage looks like? Would you like to discover where the sets of the performances are hidden and see the rehearsal halls of the people participating in a performance? Would you like to walk down the corridors and the dressing rooms hosting some of the most prominent opera artists in Greece and across the globe?
The GNO offers the SNFCC Members the chance of a backstage tour in the only Opera House in the country and an opportunity to discover the magic of a performance behind the scenes. The tour will be held on the occasion of the GNO Opera production Lucia di Lammermoor by Gaetano Donizetti, the first co-production of the Greek National Opera with the Royal Opera House, sponsored by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. The Opera is directed by Katie Mitchell.
