Sunday 10 March 2024 14:00
In Members’ March workshop on World Poetry Day we are inspired by the movement of concrete poetry and the Japanese art of haiku. We will make triplets by fishing words out of old dictionaries and then, we will choose simple shapes that might have a connection to the words of our poems and thus fill our poetic little notebooks. In the second part of the workshop, we will write words on old photographs, inspired by their captions, which we will then also stick in our notebook, to take as a souvenir with us and remember that all moments are art, and we can all be artists.
