We are welcoming Spring with a new round of journaling workshops!
How does a dotted notebook change our everyday life in terms of both its utility and our creativity? In the new three-month Membership-only cycle of seminars, we pick up where we left off with the journal we started to create during the 1st round, an activity that is a wonderful way to explore ideas and appreciate the little things in life.
The workshops are open to adults with or without previous experience in modern calligraphy. But participants are encouraged to attend all three workshops of the cycle for optimal results!

First-time participants in the workshops will be provided with notebooks.

Journaling Workshop | Patterns
Due to their repetitive nature, patterns offer a sense of harmony to the eye and mind when looking at them. When we create them, they can be a source of relaxation, inspiration and creativity, but also of surprise, as sometimes new patterns come out of hiding when we least expect it. And this sense of surprise takes us out of the inadvertent recurring routine that is inherent in any pattern.
In this workshop, we will create linear patterns inspired by art deco, as well as freer patterns, for which we will learn the technique of seamlessly repeating them, from a single “tile.”
What we can learn from patterns:
The branded LYRA writing materials that will be used during the "Patterns" seminar are offered by the company FILA HELLAS ΑΕ.
