In this year’s SNFCC Christmas World, we meet at the Park for an open and accessible dance improvisation class.
In this workshop, we perceive of dance as free creative movement and our personal perception of rhythm.
Under the guidance of the facilitators, and accompanied by percussion and live music, participants are invited to move to the rhythm produced, organizing a kinesthetic game, a collective experience through personal and group movements.
The soundscape forms an open, almost meditative framework, in which every person can feel its pulse and dance to it.
The purpose of the workshop is to feel the lightness of body offered by the joy of creation and inclusion.
The workshop helps us come into contact and connect with the surrounding space and the people around us, through different qualities of movement achieved through various different practices (contemporary dance, African dance, somatics, music-and-movement, and theater game).
A workshop open to people with any kind of disability and their escorts, without excluding people without disabilities.
