Film Club: Through the Olive Trees (1994) - Εικόνα

Watch the film and join us in discussing it together with Cinobo’s facilitators!

In November, the Members’ Film Club is discussing a motion picture blending together life and art, in a beautiful rendering of a prospective love on and off camera, a rare parallel and twofold approach to the concept of erotic desire that survives in the wreckage of an earthquake-stricken area.

Summary:
The relationships between Abbas Kiarostami and his actors during the filming of his previous film, And Life Goes On..., focusing on the newly married couple of the film and the actor’s attempt to actually marry his colleague.

* Club films are not screened during the meetings.
