Reading Club: Saturday Night at the Edge of the Town

In May, the SNFCC Book Club, facilitated by poet and translator Krystalli Glyniadaki, returns to the SNFCC Mediterranean Garden! On Monday, May 30, book lovers give an appointment at the Stavros Niarchos Park to discuss the book they read during the past month. On Wednesday, May 25, the meeting will also take place online via Zoom!  The growing circle of readers will once again have the opportunity to share experiences, feelings and ideas, as well as to make new friends and exchange viewpoints, prompted by the book of the month.

Reading Club: Teenage Book | When pink flamingos go on strike

The Book Club for Teens is resuming its meetings in May, facilitated by writer Stella Kasdagli. The book we will be reading together this month is Vasilis Papatheodorou’s When pink flamingos go on strike.   30 club members aged 12 to 16 will meet online on Sunday, May 29, at 13:00, in order to discover more worlds that are waiting to be conjured by the readers themselves, i.e. us.

Reading Club: Children’s Book | Off I Go

The SNFCC’s Book Club for Children renews its appointment with young book lovers for May, facilitated by theater pedagogue Artemis Manou, and also available online! The read of this month is Off I Go by Sakis Serefas.  On Sunday, May 22, young readers will meet at the Book Castle to share impressions, feelings and thoughts, as well as to embark on an imaginary journey, sparked by the book of the month, into the fascinating worlds emerging from its pages.
