SNFCC’s Book Club for Children renews its appointment for January, facilitated by theater pedagogue Artemis Manou, and also available online! January’s meeting will be discussing Ruth Vander Zee’s Erika's Story. On Sunday, January 23, young readers will meet at the Book Castle to share impressions, feelings and thoughts, as well as to embark on an imaginary journey, sparked by the book of the month, into the fascinating worlds emerging from its pages.
In January, the SNFCC Book Club for Teenagers turns one, and resumes its meetings, featuring writer Stella Kasdagli as facilitator. The book we will be reading together in January is Paola Zannoner’s I Want to Be a Writer. For this meeting, 30 members aged 12 to 16 will meet online on Sunday, January 30, at 11:00, in order to discover more worlds that are waiting to be conjured by the readers themselves, i.e. us.
From January, the SNFCC Reading Club meetings, moderated by poet and translator Krystalli Glyniadaki, are also available online! On the last Monday of the month, January 31, book lovers hold their standing appointment at the SNFCC Book Castle to discuss the book they read during the past month. The meeting will also take place online, on Wednesday, January 26, via Zoom!
