Exploring the world of art, inspired by Jannis Psychopedis’s work
In January’s workshop, we get inspired by portraits of poets and intellectuals which are an integral part of Jannis Psychopedis’s visual output.
We learn how to use a wide array of materials – from beads, ribbons and fabrics to pastels, acrylic paints and stickers – and try our hand in a variety of techniques, including collage and assemblage. Our goal is to recast figurative images into imaginative compositions, transforming a portrait into an explosion of arrangements and colors.
