The experiment of the century in primary and secondary education

Through the examples of Varvakeio and the Hill School in Athens, we are introduced to the teaching methods of modern physics in primary and secondary education.

This presentation is addressed to teachers of primary and secondary education.

Rapporteurs: Tina Nantsou, Physics Teacher at Hill School and Andreas Valadakis, Physics Teacher at Varvakeio Experimental High School.

The lecture is part of the educational tribute to modern physics in schools, entitled “The subatomic journey to the classroom and the library” which is organized in collaboration with CERN.

*For your convenience, you can use the free shuttle bus service which connects the SNFCC Visitors Center with Syggrou - Fix metro station (starting point from Kallirois Avenue and arrival on Evripidou street - beginning of the Esplanade). Scheduled routes will take place 30’ before and after each event.
