For high-school students

In view of the weather station of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), students explore the human influence on the climate both globally and locally, with experiments as their tool. Students also explore how the use of renewable energy sources has been evolved. This educational program aims to teach students the principles of bioclimatic design and how they find application both in the design and in the day-to-day operation of the SNFCC.

Design/Implementation: Dr I. Koletsis, Dr Vera Nomikou, Physicists - Meteorologists, Research associates of the National Observatory of Athens.
