The US Ambassador to Greece, Mr. David Pearce, visited the Visitors Center of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center and took a tour of the SNFCC construction site. The Ambassador had the opportunity to get informed on the progress of the SNFCC’s construction works and received a presentation on the future of the project. The Ambassador as well as embassy staff, discussed with representatives of the SNFCC the potential for collaboration and transfer of expertise from US cultural and educational institutions. Ambassador Pearce and US embassy staff were given a tour of the SNFCC construction site, getting informed on the various innovative and sustainable construction techniques being implemented, while they also had the opportunity to visit the archeological village and learn more about the archeological findings revealed at the SNFCC construction site.
