On Thursday, June 27, 2013, the participants of the Second Annual Stavros Niarchos Foundation Conference on Philanthropy visited the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center construction site, were updated on the progress of the project, learned about the archaeological excavations at the site, and viewed a short project-related performance by GNO ballet dancers. The event took place in the Sports and Leisure Park of the Municipality of Kallithea, which is adjacent to the SNFCC site and was built through a grant by the SNF.
