More than 20.000 people welcomed 2018 at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC). Hundreds of fireworks lit up the Athenian sky, forming a spectacular show next to SNFCC's buildings, the festively lit Stavros Niarchos Park and the ice-rink that has been installed on the Canal.
A few moments in the new year, 2018's first run, SNF RUN, kicked off, with over 1.300 runners of all ages participating. At the same time, world famous BBC radio producer Gilles Peterson launched SNFCC's new year's eve party at the Agora. The ice-rink remained open till the wee hours, offering a unique experience to visitors.
