The Stavros Niarchos Park stretches across 52 acres of the total Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center area and is the largest Mediterranean public garden in the world. A modern work of landscape architecture, it was designed in accordance with the principles of sustainability and environmental preservation, with utmost respect for the land and its heritage, and above all, with utmost respect for the needs and wishes of the residents of a modern-day city.

One of the key sustainability milestones of the Stavros Niarchos Park is the exploitation of the crop yielded by cultivated species, such as olive oil. In this context and with a view to social responsibility, the SNFCC offered part of this year's olive oil yield to the restaurant of Shedia street magazine and to the Social Grocery Store of the Municipality of Kallithea, with the aim of supporting their work in battling the consequences of poverty and social exclusion.
