Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, the seminal film by Pedro Almodóvar, is coming to the SNFCC Great Lawn on Monday 02/09 at 21.00, as part of the 4th Mediterranean Festival of the Municipality of Kallithea.
After a long-lasting relationship with his companion and colleague Pepa, Ivan decides to break up with her, leaving her a message on the phone. Pepa tries to reach Ivan without any success, looking for an explanation for this decision. Meanwhile, Pepa crosses paths with Ivan's wife who has recently left from a psychiatric clinic. At the same time, Pepa's friend, Candela, seeks refuge at Pepa's home, afraid of her terrorist-lover. Last but not least, Ivan's son, Carlos, arrives at Pepa's home with his fiancé. A series of unexpected encounters and a group of women on the verge of a nervous breakdown! What will be the outcome of these strange encounters?
