Enjoy selected online concerts that took place as part of the #snfccAtHome series of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC). On Tuesday 18/08 at 21.00, the concert of Nalyssa Green, which took place on June 12 at the South Paths of the Stavros Niarchos Park, will be screened at the Stavros Niarchos Park's Great Lawn.
Just before sunset, live from the South Paths of the Stavros Niarchos Park, the talented composer, songwriter and singer Nalyssa Green presented a concert developed especially for the SNFCC’s online program: selected songs from her entire discography, recent creations, and work from her upcoming record. In her distinctive atmospheric voice, she performed mostly solo, with the accompaniment of the piano or guitar. For a part of the show, she was joined by Despoinis Trichromi and Katerina Papachristou (Tango with Lions), to sweep us away into a different soundscape based on synthesizers and triphonies.
Self-taught on the keyboards, the guitar, the accordion and the theremin, Nalyssa Green has made her presence known on the domestic indie music scene since the end of the previous decade. She has already released three solo albums, Barock (2010), The Seed (2012) and, her first with Greek lyrics, Bloom (2018). Since 2014, she has also been composing original music for theatre. Spanning a broad range of pop aesthetics, her musical identity is characterized by atmospheric vocals with intense electronic elements.
