It’s an animated world…

August sees the SNFCC’s Great Lawn flooded by cartoon heroes that have been loved by all ages, inspired by classic fairy tales, comic books passed on from generation to generation, or figments of the imagination of great animators, who have created worlds and situations of timeless value and meaning.

The Princess and the Frog (2009): Plot

Prince Naveen of Maldonia arrives in 1926 New Orleans, in order to marry a rich, pretty girl to support him, as his family has disinherited him. A witch doctor will convince him that he can make all of his dreams come true, but he will turn him into a frog! At a ball, Naveen asks Tiana to kiss him and break the spell, thinking that she is a princess. Unfortunately, however, instead of turning Naveen back into his human form, the kiss also turns Tiana into a frog! Disney’s 49th cartoon is inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairy tale “The Frog Prince”.
