Members Events: Talking about George Zongolopoulos' public sculpture

During the exhibition George Zongolopoulos: The Vision of Public Sculpture, SNFCC is hosting an open discussion, featuring Giorgos Houliaras, sculptor, former Vice-Rector, Athens School of Fine Arts, and the exhibition co-curator, Angelos Moretis, director, George Zongolopoulos Foundation; they will talk about sculpture in public space.

The oeuvre of Zongolopoulos – a major proponent of public art – encourages us to rethink our role as citizens and our relationship with the perception of “public” as a cultural notion.
