Exploring the world of art, inspired by Jannis Psychopedis’s work
Inspired by Jannis Psychopedis's exhibition, Poetical Works, we will explore how poetry, and poets, morph into images in his work.
We will experience the magic of the art of engraving, exploring its history and discovering basic techniques.
In January’s first session, we will produce pieces inspired by Kiki Dimoula’s poem Sign of Recognition; in our second meeting, our focal point will be her poem The Plural.
Participants will experiment with linoleum and produce multiple impressions of their works; they will then finish each impression using acrylic paints, so as to turn each impression into a distinct, unique work of art.
