A new and innovative program, Meeting Point kicks off at SNFCC, with a lot of dance and music for teenagers! It fosters a dialogue between the two arts, establishing a common ground for creativity. Under the guidance of experienced musicians and choreographers, participants form groups, choose a common theme and approach it in different ways. They begin with improvisation and gradually shift to composition. Sometimes, a choreography emerges through music and sometimes dance leads to music composition.

Titled “I and Others”, the first cycle in April begins with the composition Soli. Get ready to cultivate the ability to choreograph a dance and compose music for yourselves! Discreet yet meaningful guidance by choreographers and musicians will help you on your way to discovering your own creativity. At the same time, you will experience the power of collaborative work through the process of group composition – how, that is, all the individual solos lead to a unique, unimagined team result.

Previous experience and class participation in dance, music and the performing arts is required.

Teens who play musical instruments, please bring the instruments with them.
