Lifelong Learning: George Zongolopoulos: The Vision of Public Sculpture, Space Compositions / Compositions in Space

Through a guided tour, participants discover the power and charm of sculpture, through the work of George Zongolopoulos. Shapes, lines and points in space, experimentation with materials, games of scale and the concept of abstraction, become the inspiration to interpret the exhibits and understand the artist’s creative process. The workshop culminates with a large-scale team-built installation-sculpture, formed by the synthesis of different shapes, found in the sculptor’s work.
