Since the ancient times, embroidery had been a daily and necessary activity for women. Later it became an asset based on which women prepared their dowry. Today, embroidery is considered another form of art, creativity and skill, as well as an escape from the rapid and stressful rhythm of the everyday life.

In autumn, creative embroidery labs continue at the SNFCC. During the lab, we will familiarize ourselves with simple and more complex embroidery techniques and we will create our own needlecraft, inspired by our first textbook. Starting by choosing the most suitable fabric to embroider, we will be guided through the basic embroidery techniques until we have a complete piece of work in our hands.
