Following the announcement for the latest public health measures, the workshop is cancelled.
This fall we invite our little friends to become the gardeners of Stavros Niarchos Park, by planting vegetables and fruit. Through practice and quizzes, the children will be introduced to the world of gardening, the history and origins of plants, the concept of sustainability and other values that enhance environmental awareness.
In November's workshop, the little gardeners are on an island with seeds, mattocks, watering cans and clean water. They will plant seasonal vegetables at the Park’s Vegetable Garden and will become the producers of tasty and fresh products. Moreover, they will taste their own produce along with their friends, teaching other children how to cultivate organic products.
