“Sculpture must breathe” – George Zongolopoulos
How can one set a space free by creating a monument for it? In a purpose-made studio and inspired by George Zongolopoulos’ airy sculpture, participants will produce scaled models designed for a public site of their choice.
Reflecting a weightless, spiritual sculpture that grows in tandem with breathing, the gaze travels through matter, just like air flows through it.
