The SNFCC continues the successful series of weekly screenings of classical films. At the first Park Your Cinema, the cinematic choices are based on vintage works, which have helped establish an entertainment tradition of reissues of classical films at Athenian outdoor movie theaters. From the ’30s to the early ’70s, the films, screened in a chronological order, apply to the mythology of global filmography; movies which have been loved over and over again, screened under the Athenian sky.The potential location of these screenings is flexible, since the SNFCC offers various alternatives for parking an outdoor movie theater!

SpielbergÕs big-screen directorial debut is an action-drama-adventure which provided a significant boost for this particular genre of films, inspired by true events. The film won the award for Best Screenplay at the 1974 Cannes Film Festival.
