Getting to know Autism through Sports | Friday, April 1, 2022

On the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day (April 2), students from all educational grades of special and general education will have the opportunity to participate in joint experiential activities with Special Olympics Hellas athletes, promoting the message of inclusion, equality, and equal opportunities, in an immersive manner. Through four fun activities, all children, on or off the autism spectrum, will try out adapted sporting events, dance and have lots of fun. 

The activities will take place between 09.00 - 12.40

Each school can participate in up to 2 different activities. 
1 class per time slot 
 

Below is the detailed program of the activities at the SNFCC:

BOCCE: INTRODUCTION TO THE SPORT OF SPECIAL OLYMPICS

* Pre-registrations for the activities starts on Tuesday 22/03 at 12.00

All protective measures are observed at the SNFCC’s School Programs!

For the participation of students in the activities, one of the following must be demonstrated: valid vaccination or recovery certificate, negative self-, rapid, or PCR test of the past week, or their latest negative self-test for school. Teachers are not required to present a certificate so long as they do not participate in the activity.
 

All school programs were designed and are made available free of charge through a grant by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
