Μουσική βιομηχανία, έμφυλα στερεότυπα και προκλήσεις - Εικόνα

The music industry has consistently been producing social stereotypes, highlighting them and rewarding them. Currently, trap music is bringing to the fore the type of sexist lyrics that were present, but went unnoticed, for decades even in “art music,” in more “melodic” songs, or even in children’s songs. The well-established representation of women in video clips; the so-called “manly” songs; the age limit for performers — all this and much more will spark a “musical” conversation among 3 generations of creators, performers, DJs, and writers.

Panel Moderator:
Margarita Mytilineou - Managing Director of the ATHENS 9.84 radio station

Speakers:
Marseaux - Pop artist
Mi55t, rapper
Myrto Kontova - songwriter
Lena Divani – Writer and University professor
Cleopatra Fyntanidou - Radio Producer/DJ
