Starting in January, visual artist Maro Michalakakou is holding three unique upcycling workshops for adults. In this series of workshops, we will discover the art of creative reuse, or upcycling. We will tap into the properties of household waste, as well as old or out-of-use objects that are easily found in our living space, such as coffee pods, corks, magazines, newspapers, twine, cardboard and paper, and transform them into one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry, notebooks, utility and decorative objects.
