Reading Club: Children’s Literature | Summer, autumn, winter, spring, summer… - Εικόνα

Our Reading Club for young book lovers continues online in April, hosted by the author Tasoula Eptakoili.

The book that will inspire this meeting is Summer, autumn, winter, spring, summer… by Argyro Pipini.

Each month, twenty members between 7 and 10 years old get together to discover a new book! Our little readers will have the chance to share their impressions, feelings and thoughts, as well as to travel, using their imagination as the vehicle and the book of the month as their launch pad, into the exciting worlds that spring up from its pages.

The book and its author

Once upon a time, there was a house… A house that was sad – because it had feelings, and because it was all alone, but it was given a second chance to relive its old glory, when a new family arrived at its door.
A story about how life goes on, for things and for people. About the cycle of seasons and feelings (love, companionship), about one generation helping the next, and about second chances.

The author

Argyro Pipini is an author and actor. She studied political science and theater. She runs creative writing workshops and seminars to cultivate the love of reading for adults and children, in collaboration with universities and libraries in Greece and abroad, makes school visits, and translates literature, plays and children’s books. Her books To diko tous taksidi (Kaleidoskopio, 2014) and Melak, monos (Kaleidoskopio, 2016) have received awards by the literary journal “O Anagnostis”, and are included on the White Ravens list.
