Splash! | Exclusive SNFCC Members' Events in August

In August, SNFCC members “dive” into the most summery of months, with activities and digital propositions that bring us close to water — the cardinal element of summer — and the most carefree season of the year. We continue the Fitness series, rowing in the Canal. The imposing Maman sculpture will still serve as our waterside landmark, while we will also be spending one afternoon weaving, inspired by its creator, Louise Bourgeois. For our visit outside the walls of the SNFCC, we will tour NEON’s exhibition “DREAM ON,” at the iconic venue of the former Public Tobacco Factory. We will conclude the month with a guided tour of the Artworks exhibition MYTHOLOGIES | NEW TERRAINS, interacting with works of Greek contemporary art. The necessary cooling down will be provided by the film proposals of the Cinobo team and the book proposals of the National Library of Greece (NLG), which magnificently capture “the blissful cloud of summer-indolence,” summer carefreeness and summer sun.

SNFCC Members Off Premises: Tour at the NEON'S Exhibition DREAM ON

Following NEON’s collaboration with the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, for the installation of Louise Bourgeois’ Maman at the Esplanade, the SNFCC Members participate at a guided tour at NEON’s new exhibition entitled DREAM ON, in the context of their exclusive off premises Members’ activities.
