On Monday 03/04 at 10.00, middle and high school students will gather at Stavros Niarchos Hall to participate in an open discussion on Consent.
On Monday 03/04 at 10.00, grade school students will participate in the immersive workshop «Συναι/no». This is a self-contained, immersive educational activity on consensus, self-determination and bodily autonomy.
Prior to their visit, student groups that wish to do so may prepare a small-scale improvised fanzine on gender inequality, using tools they can find on the SNFCC’s educational web platform SNFCC Class. Teachers will be able to download printable files, which will guide actively participating students through very simple steps for writing their own magazine.
Unconscious biases and stereotypes are part of the reason why our efforts to foster equality, diversity and inclusion within the school environment are slowed down or failing, while words we use in our daily oral or written speech are able to consolidate them or, conversely, overturn them in the minds of children of any age. So, how can we use these words more consciously?
