Hear the Celebration | Exclusive SNFCC Members' Events in February

Following the tribute to the senses, in February we focus on hearing. On the occasion of the World Radio Day on 13/02, we drill into a backstage tour of the recording studios of NLG and meet the radio producer of Athens 9,84 Margarita Mytilineou, who shares with us moments from the history of radio in Greece and experiences from her perennial presence in the field. In February follows our second discussion of the senses, as well as the second Theatrical Game workshop, where our little Members through a feast of sounds create their own unique stories. In the framework of the Membership Program's collaboration with Delta Restaurant and Artworks, we participate in the fourth thematic art visit on and off the premises. Finally, we welcome our new Members with an exclusive tour of the SNFCC. But, it does not end here! Stay tuned, because February holds many exclusive surprises!

Members' Event: February Artistic visit at Delta Restaurant

A thematic initiative of artistic visits in two parts, exclusively for SNFCC Members

Within the context of this thematic initiative, the Membership Program in collaboration with ARTWORKS and Delta Restaurant, have scheduled visits, exclusively for the Members of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), which will take place from November 2021 to March 2022. Our fourth visit is happening on Monday 07/02, 18.00 at Delta Restaurant.

SNFCC Members Off the Premises: Studio Visit and Meet the artist – Manolis Daskalakis Lemos

In February, we have the greatest pleasure of meeting in person the artist Manolis Daskalakis Lemos, who is opening the doors of his studio and welcomes us at his personal space, where he creates his artworks. We will also have the opportunity to discuss about his own work and techniques, as well as the way he perceives them.

Μembers' Meetup: World Radio Day | A discussion with Margarita Mytilineou (Athina 9,84) and a visit to the NLG Studios

During this Sunday meeting, we will have the pleasure to host and discuss with the head of the “Athina 9,84” radio station, Margarita Mytilineou, who will share with us experiences from her perennial presence in the field, historical events of the Radio journey, as well as the Greek Radio. At the same time, we sneak into a backstage tour only for our Members in the recording studios of the National Library of Greece, where the technicians will make a brief presentation of the studios’ equipment usage and operation.

Μembers' Meetup: Sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch | Meeting Myself and the World through touch

In this two-hour experiential workshop, we will discuss the developmental, relational, and social dimension of touch and we will explore through specific exercises and improvisations the experience of Touch, as a way of communicating with the world, as a collective memory, as desire and creation.
