The group Η παρέα του δάσους (The Forest Group) joins the Christmas world of the SNFCC and calls upon younger and older people, through imaginative motor, sensory and environmental games, to welcome the holiday season and winter by exploring the SNFCC Mediterranean Garden and discovering what is going on in nature during this time of the year.
An action workshop, in which parents and children learn the characteristics of winter and work together to build their own special original ornaments made of natural materials (seeds, fruits, leaves and branches).
The Forest Group represents an original pedagogical approach that uses the oldest “laboratory” in the world—nature—as a field for learning and development. Taking the cue from natural seasonal stimuli and employing play, movement, contact with natural materials and well-designed activities that are carried out outdoors under the guidance of specialized pedagogues, younger and older participants are given the opportunity to reconnect with nature and remember that we are all part of it, while also developing our environmental awareness.

Τo enter the space of the activity, minors from 4 to 17 years old are required to show a declaration of negative self-test result (24 hours) or alternatively a negative PCR (72 hours) or rapid test (48 hours) result or a valid vaccination or recovery certificate*. For participants aged 18 and over, a valid vaccination or recovery certificate is required.
*Recovery certificates are valid for up to 6 months after the disease, for the ones that were issued until 31.10.2021, and up to 3 months after the disease, for the ones that were issued from 01.11.2021.
The use of face mask and social distancing measures are mandatory in indoor and outdoor areas of the SNFCC, in accordance with Hellenic National Public Health Organization regulations.
Due to public health measures, there may be changes regarding either the staging of the event, or the maximum number of participants.
