The SNFCC is hosting a fascinating four-day series of Disney+ events, from Thursday, September 8, to Sunday, September 11.
On the occasion of Disney+ Day on September 8, Disney+ is organizing a series of activities and events that are sure to thrill young and old audiences alike. Over the course of four days, the public will have the opportunity to take part in exciting events, such as the “Disney+ Day Live in Concert,” featuring the Athens Philarmonia Orchestra and blending beloved Disney+ content with classical music; original Disney+ movie screenings; and a spectacular installation with Disney+ inflatable structures.
On Sunday, September 11, at 21:00, the SNFCC Great Lawn will host the screening of the Disney+ original film Rise: The Story of the Antetokounmpo Family, which is based on the real-life story of Giannis Antetokounmpo and his family’s journey from Nigeria to Greece and then on to America. Set in Athens, the film talks about the family that gave birth to Giannis, Thanasis and Kostas Antetokounmpo — the first trio of brothers to become NBA champions in the history of the league.
The film will be screened in English audio with Greek subtitles.
