Educational Activity: Getting to know Assistance Dogs - Εικόνα

On Saturday, April 2, on the occasion of World Autism Awareness Day, the SNFCC will be hosting an educational activity for children on the spectrum, over the course of which, within a short time of play, children will come into contact with assistance dogs by participating in entertaining and creative activities.

Communication games with the dog will encourage confidence in the social environment, and develop each child’s social skills and team spirit, in line with the vision that every disabled person in our country should be able to live with an assistance dog, which will provide him or her with quality of life as well as greater autonomy, independent mobility, security and, ultimately, social acceptance and integration.

The activity is organized by Assistance Dogs Greece in cooperation with Regeneration and Progress.
