On the weekend of May 7 & 8, we celebrate Mother's Day with the Members of the SNFCC!
During our spring meeting, we celebrate Mother's Day, drawing inspiration from artworks that praise the mother’s symbol, we will try to approach from a mythological perspective the insect butterfly, as a symbol representing the Great Mother, the Goddess Mother, the incarnation of the world’s soul, as well as visually, through the artworks of modern artists.
Prompted by Mother's Day, Brushes together with sponges are ready to be rolled in colors, sprinkled with glitter and smudges, to cover the children's foreheads allover!
An open invitation – a discussion about the process of parenting through adoption or fostering conditions.
How is such a massive sculpture constructed? What material is it made of? How is it transported?
Inspired by the exhibition of Louise Bourgeois’s giant spider, Maman, at the SNFCC, the Playroom team is inviting young Members to join an art game designed to present information and knowledge about the journey of this great sculpture around the world.
Cinema lovers meet at the SNFCC to discuss, share thoughts, and exchange views, starting with the film of the month.
Through Parasites, it shows how family ties are affected by the financial state of the family, or maybe not, and it gives a fresh look on the class struggle.

With the support of the Municipality of Athens, our city welcomes the largest cocktail Festival in Greece, the first Athens Cocktail Festival, which will take place at the Lighthouse of the SNFCC on 20 & 21 May 2022. Exploring a family of vine varieties and labels, in this workshop we will combine fine wines from the Gerovassiliou Estate with favorite side dishes of delicatessen cheese, cold cuts and spreads, from the new Wine-pairing menu, which the Members will be the first to try. The wine presentation will be curated by Mr. Socrates Vrakas, sommelier of the Gerovassiliou Estate, while the menu by the catering chef of IT.
